Yakisoba& Cakeaway-  Manchester
My cousins leaving meal, he's off to uni, Cambridge to be specific (yes.. I did just outline that, how could you not outline it, PROUD COUSIN HERE!) Anyway, back to the point so we chose to go Yakisoba, situated in Chorlton Manchester. Its a sort of Chinese/ Japanese restaurant, really warm and homely atmosphere I would say, not your typical type of loud music, busy, dressed up environment. So we ordered a mixed sizzler starter platter, we swapped the beef option to lamb and chicken as beef is not halal there- the platter was lovely, made us have high expectations for the main as it was a great start.
Our mains shortly followed -they were quick with serving that's something I liked and  they also gave us this extra free separate tray of food (top right pic) it had fruit, tofu soup, prawn crackers...That was different.
I ordered the Pad Thai, Its basically like noodles mixed in with prawns, vegetables, sounds standard really but honestly they add something magic to this dish and I always end up getting it wherever I go- rice, fuzion literally anywhere that has it! As I've had it many times before I was able to compare it easily .... This one was terrible- it left a bitter taste , I had like 6 bites and left it, quite sickening. My cousins had ordered two other dishes- they had the same experience a few bites and it was left. I definitely wont be going there again, a shame really quite enjoyed the relaxed cosy atmosphere- rate it 5/10 and that's being nice!

We ended the night in Cakeaway Didsbury- really nice deserts, always share as its so rich a few bites and your literally done trust me we all have a sweet tooth and we struggled. Today was my third time going to this place, they do make you wait like 20 mins before your  served  your deserts but it may just be because the cookies are made from scratch? My mates  haven't had good experiences with this place- I think its when you order online through just eat- it takes too long to be delivered. I recommend you actually go to Cakeaway and try it. They do amazing occasional cakes!

Mascara Review
So here we have left to right; BOURJOIS-volume clubbing, MAX FACTOR X-Wild mega volume, RIMMEL-Scandal eyes, and MAC-Extended play gigablack lash.

BOURJOIS-volume clubbing around £7.99 9/10
This is good for thickness and volume, its a good  mascara  for everyday . I think it concentrates more on thickness and volume rather than length and that winged out lash look. I do like the brush its simply a couple of stokes and your done, the only downfall is after having it a while it did go a little clumpy, but i guess all mascaras do after a while.   http://www.superdrug.com/bourjois/bourjois-volume-clubbing-mascara-absolute-black/invt/438030#readReview

MAX FACTOR X-Wild mega volume around £6.99 5/10
I think for a £1 more its worth getting the Bourjous, this is ok but i dont think its as effective as Bourjous in doing what it says. the brush is good as you can tilt it and do the side lashes but overall compared to other mascaras its not something you would rush out your house out to buy if it was on promotion.

RIMMEL-Scandal eyes £6.99 10/10
This is the best mascara in terms of quality and price out of all the other drugstore brands. I think this does exactly what it says, a couple of coats and your done. Thick, Long, Voluminous lashes. If you were deciding from this and the Bourjous I would go for this! http://www.superdrug.com/rimmel/rimmel-scandaleyes-extreme-black/invt/380050&bklist=

MAC-Extended play gigablack lash around £14 4/10
I regret purchasing this! It literally does nothing for me drugstore brands are more effective.  I thought lets try it the brush is different compared to what I usually go for that . It creates no volume, perhaps it does create a bit of length, its good at separating lashes, that's about it. I have kept this as a bottom lash mascara, I think its pretty useful for the bottom lashes its the right consistency but its a big no no for the top! Definitely not worth the money!  http://www.maccosmetics.com/product/shaded/152/24962/Products/Eyes/Mascara/Extended-Play-Gigablack-Lash/index.tmpl

Rollers
Curls Curls Curls, I used to do a lot with hair when I was younger as I got older I preferred spending more time on makeup than hair. I used to do curls with curlers, then I found a quicker alternative, straighteners. A year or2 passed& I was getting sick of that
...Lazy I know
But it turned out to be a good thing, you know why.. it encouraged my what if? thought when seeing the roller set while passing the electronics isle in Asda.

If you have not tried it, You Need to try it. My roller set is not even a good quality one, and it does miracles. Once you get the hang of it, it takes around 10 mins to section your hair and put them in, while your waiting you can start on your make up, and then once finished you can take them out. I leave mine in for usually 30-45 mins20 mins also does the trick as its heated.
The trick is heat them for longer.. well that's what I do.

This is my lifee!!! This is what I rely on like everyday, let me talk you through it :) I put Illamasqua in there just so I can mention it briefly but we're concentrating on the Mac concealer pot. WithIllamasqua I found it turns bitty on my skin- just after I apply it and put powder on, it turns into a mess! I don't know why this happens maybe its my skin type? (mid-oily). I don't know... but I steeraway from it now!

The Mac Concealer pot is the BEST, I have remained loyal to this for the last 5-6 years. Its aheavy consistency and I don't think they recommend it for under the eyes but it works for me! I useNC42 (go 1-2 shades lighter than your foundation). Most of the time I don't wear foundation, I literally apply concealer wherever its needed and use the kabuki sponge to blend it in and finish off with setting powder. It gives a matte finish, which you've probably picked up- I'm obsessed with the matte look.

I brought my kabuki sponge of ebay it was only £3-4, definitely worth it, its amazing at blending if you haven't got one, please I urge you to try it!

Lipsticks are my favourite, they can make such a difference helping set your face. I have a mixture of Mac, Illumasque, YSL, Sleek, and drugstore brands. I know it looks like I'm an addict for reds and pinks from the pics but there's nudes hidden in there, promise!

Some basic advice, if you go heavy on the eyes go easy on the lips-more nudes. If you have lighteyes, maybe go for more of a statment lip colour, so sometimes I literally put no eyeshadow on and concentrate on that eyeliner and bold lip look. Tbh, I think it creates more of a statement than heavy eyeshadow (I will post a pic of both looks side by side so you see what I mean).

Another thing about lipsticks and me, I hate sheer lipsticks and lip-glosses, I literally wear Mattelipsticks all the time, my favourite lipstick ever ever ever is MAC- Rubywoo (some of you probably noticed by the blog name), If you look closely at the first pic- top left,  you will see there's hardly anything left on Ruby, time to buy a new one I think (remember guys save 6 empty Mac products and trade it in for a lipstick, definitely worth it!).

Make it Matte. So a lot of the time its difficult getting hold of Matte lipsticks in the exact shade you want. Try lipliner! I literally apply lipliner all over my lips- its matte, it lasts long, its a cheapalternative (normally around £2.99 from drugstores) and its easy to mix to get the colour you want. Definitely worth a try for those of you who haven't yet! O yeah, one more thing I found Matte lip-glosses as well-Superdrugs I think it was.

YSL- lipstick was actually a present from my aunt, one of the richest lipsticks I have tried, lasts long and have really strong pigments. If any of you are thinking of buying a YSL lipstick, go for it!
